Junior High School Curriculum
Our Junior High programs seek to foster holistic formation in each child; intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual. Students in grades 7 and 8 build relationships with teachers and students that last a lifetime. Their academic foundation is strengthened, and their faith is deepened.
The New Hampshire Catholic Junior High program is a preparatory curriculum for the Catholic High Schools. Experience in core subjects such as writing, reading comprehension (yes, summer reading exists!), math and science prepare many of our students to enter into honors-level classes freshman year. In addition, students consistently exceed the national average in standardized testing. Small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratio provide an experience that is personal and communal.
Extracurricular activities abound. Most of our schools’ athletic programs are “no-cut”, allowing students of all skill levels to enjoy the thrill of the game. Clubs such as drama, band and chorus perform throughout the year and student-led clubs keep students engaged after the school day is over.
