St. Christopher Parish, an active and growing Roman Catholic community in Nashua, is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant for our friendly office.
We are seeking a practicing Roman Catholic with a desire to serve the mission of the parish, a kind and welcoming personality, and a willingness to serve all people. Must possess strong communication skills, basic computer competence (email, Word, Google Calendar), and an ability to work on a wide variety of tasks.
Duties include answering phone calls and assisting walk-in visitors; helping coordinate baptisms, funerals and weddings; arranging weekend Mass Intentions and announcements; facilitating requests for Mass intentions, updating parish database and processing new parishioner registrations; scheduling lectors and altar servers, maintaining sacramental records; coordinating the parish calendar and building usage; ordering liturgical supplies; assisting the pastor and staff with other duties as needed.
Experience working in a parish is helpful but not required. Hours are flexible between 22-27 hours per week, paid hourly. Assistance with additional special events is occasionally requested.

The Diocese of Manchester is seeking a full-time upper-level accounting professional for the Administration’s Finance Office. The qualified candidate will work together with a team processing accounting and reporting functions in accordance to generally accepted accounting principles and established internal controls including cash and investment management and will include account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, tax reporting, investment tracking per UPMIFA; assistance with the preparation of a multi-million dollar annual budget, working with external auditors and other related functions. The qualified candidate will hold a Bachelor degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience. Ideally the candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting and Finance Management.
Requirements for this position include; strong computer skills, proficiency in Database Management Programs and Microsoft Office Suites, a working knowledge of Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge programs, excellent organizational skills, accuracy, strong attention to detail and the ability to perform clear account reconciliations. In this fast-paced environment, it is necessary to be able to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and meet time-sensitive deadlines. This position reports to the Controller. St. Anne – St. Augustin Parish, Manchester
We are looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of housekeeper. This position is 20 hours per week; Monday through Thursday. The hours may increase in the future. The applicant must be organized and needs to know how to perform various aspects of “keeping house” such as washing & ironing, vacuuming & dusting, washing floors and windows among the assorted duties. This individual must also be physically able to walk up and down three flights of stairs. The job also includes special cleaning in the Church. Ste. Marie Parish is currently seeking a part-time receptionist to work in the parish office, 20-25 hours per week. The hours will be 9:00 – 3:00 Monday through Thursday. Engaged Couples Facilitator
Diocese of Manchester – Family Life Ministries
The Diocese of Manchester is seeking part time Facilitator Couples for our Diocesan Engaged Couple Courses, which may occur remotely or in-person. Facilitator Couples will: (a) be a part of a team of committed Catholic couples; (b) offer enriching presentations from personal experience living the Sacrament of Matrimony and Ascension Press’ Joy Filled Marriage program; (c) guide and support engaged couples through the marriage formation process. At this time, remote courses are offered for 5 consecutive Tuesdays or Thursdays (7-8:30pm); in-person courses may soon be offered, Friday evening (6-9pm) through Saturday (8am-5:30pm, including Mass). Training will be offered for these openings.
